DCM and Fab's Christmas Challenge

Hi folks. I have a double whammy today, let me start with the DCM challenge which was to make a quick card. Well I did this one last night and I actually timed myself. It took 15 minutes! Is that quick enough? The reason it was so quick to make is that I used two of the ready couloured bonus images from the Christmas Charmed Download collection. All I had to do was print cut and stick then add the finishing touches that made it my own. I really like doing holes for the stars/snowflakes because the light gets right behind them and looks great IRL.

The second challenge was from Fabrizio's blog. He's been helping us get organised early for Christmas by challenging us to make a Christmas card by the 25th of each month and if you're feeling like a nutter you match the number of cards to the number of the month. So as I am a bit of a nutter and the month the challenge was set was number 5 I've made five cards. I've made them throughout the month but I thought I'd show them all in one go (Fab you've already seen the reindeer one because I showed you it before I decided to show them all together - but I've

Oops! That makes 6 altogether! Do I get a gold star Fab?

All images used in these cards are from the Christmas Download collection at Charmed Cards and Crafts. TKL

Juliets Challenge

Our Juliet over at Dottie's World set a challenge to herself to use some of the downloads that she's never used before and invited us to join her.

I've been meaning to use Cowgirl Dottie for ages but never got around to it so this was my chance.
Who would have knees like that?????

Yeeeee Haaaaaa! It's Cowgirl Dottie, Go Get Em Dottie!

Cow Girl Dottie is from the Dress Up Dottie collection and the papers are K&Co Mira - My Faves!
If you've bought any of the Charmed downloads and you have your creations on your blog, please check that I have you on the Dotties World Blogging Customers list and if I've missed you please let me know. If I don't know about you I can't choose you for Customer Thursday or Customer of the Month - for which you'd recieve a free unique Dottie or George.

Dottie's World Challenge - Floral

This weeks challenge on Dottie's World was set by Nicola. We could use any Charmed download but we had to use flowers of some kind on the project too.

Well we have the month of LEO coming up soon so I thought I'd get prepared and make a card with Dottie dressed up as Leo the Lion. I've used dream street papers - which I luuurve and beautiful prima orchids (all from charmed cards and crafts).

I'm really happy with the results, I think it's nice and summery, what do you think?

Charmed DT Projects.

I've been having a play!
You should have seen the fantastic package of goodies Karen of Charmed Cards and Crafts sent me this month. The papers and some of the embellishments were from the Imaginisce Baby Powder range and the chip board was from K&Company.
Here are some sneaky peeks of what I came up with.

Blog Candy Results!!!!

Well, as promised the time has come to announce the two winners of my Curvy Card Templates. I had a huge response and I was so touched with all the lovely things you all said. Thank you for taking part.

Now, I've seen cute photos on people's blogs of their kids picking names out of hats. Well my kids, in there words "wouldn't be seen dead infront of my camera!" awful phrase I know but that's kids for you.

So I had to resort to my third child, Lizzie, here she is....

I thought it would be nice and easy to write down all the names, cut them out and put them in her food bowl, then simply take the photo as she picked out a name. Oh no no no, I was so wrong. She's a very clever parrot and she knew I was up to something. It took ages before she picked a name out, but we got there in the end.
So, the first winner please Lizzie........

Congratulations Chriss Rollins!

And the second winner is.......

Michelle! Congratulations to you too Michelle!!!!

Crafty Templates Cards

Hi folks,
I've got my Crafty Templates cards to show you today. It's quite sad really because they are my very last cards for CT as I recently hung up my CT apron for good. I needed to free up some time because I was burning myself out. I enjoyed every minute being on their design team and I wish Leo lots of success for the future.
For all of these cards I used this month's Crafty Templates kit. I couldn't believe it when I got it and saw all the scrummy goodies, I think you'll agree that with these lush products and the amazing templates, it's an offer that's too good to miss.

Thank you for visiting my blog. xx

Fab's Christmas Challenge

Hello folks,
I'm in Christmas mode (Eek!) now that the new Christmas Download collection is complete (boy was that a labour of love!). So I've decided to have a go at Fabrizio's Christmas Challenge. You can just make one Christmas card or go for the 'Nutter' option and match the month number. So as this is the May challenge still you can make 5 cards.

Here's my first........

I think Pantomime Rudolf is one of my faves from the collection. Rudolf, the stage/curtains and the speech bubble were all from the set. I printed out the coloured ones as I didn't have time to colour in.
Thanks for the fab challenge Fab!
