DCM - Cut

It's that time again so here's the brief from DCM....Any theme goes, so for those of you needing a break from Christmas crafting this is the perfect opportunity to have a change. All styles are welcome but there MUST be an element of handcutting somewhere. It could be a greeting, a shape, letters printed on your pc and handcut, anything goes as long as you did it by hand.

I saw This idea in Crafts Beautiful magazine and thought it would fit well with this dare. Each layer of the tree is snipped by hand to create the frill. I thought it looked really simple in the magazine but it was a real faffing about so I think this may be my first and last.

The papers are BG Phoebe.

What a wonderful card. Well worth the effort, even if it is not for mass production!

I keep thinking of Marilyn Monroe standing over the subway air vent with her skirt blowing up! This looks great, Lou - love the colour combination, it works really well on a Christmas card.
