Dottie's World Challenge

Hi all, I know I'm becoming a one trick pony and only ever posting my example cards but it's all going to change! After half term I'm only working mornings so I'm going to have more time! YAY!!!!!! Mind you I do have a small queue of jobs waiting so maybe I shouldn't speak too soon.

It's Karen's turn to set the Dottie's World Challenge this week; She wants us to go Dottie!
Here's what I came up with....
I'm into stitching and buttons at the moment- as you can see! I thought the button snowflakes would be a good way to make the dots for this challenge.

I popped a red brad on for Rudolf's nose and glammed it up with a red ribbon.

Dottie's World Challenge

It was my turn to set the challenge this week over on Dottie's World and I fancied a change, pop over to see what I said (click the blinkire in the sidebar)
Here's what I came up with...

Sorry about the blurred photo, that was my husband's fault (LOL)

This is so easy to do! Create the image you want on your PC, print it out onto some iron on cotton sheet from Crafty Computer Paper, peel off the backing paper and iron it on! This apron took half an hour from start to finish! I thought it would make a nice little stocking filler for my Mum this Christmas.

Dottie's World Challenge.

I know, I know, all I seem to do these days is the Dottie challenge but I do have a good reason I promise, God only gave us 24 hours a day! How on earth are we supposed to fit everything in! I'll tell you how, you go to your boss and you say, "please boss, can I just work mornings so that I can use the afternoons to persuue my crafting dreams?" Well that's what I did and so after half term I'm hopefully going to be able to fit more in. (note that I said hopefully, LOL).

Anyhow, for now, limited blogging it has to be. It's Nicola's challenge this weeek and this is what she said;
A is for Acetate with a hint of pink!!It can be a whole acetate card,an aperture of acetate,an embelishment as long as Acetate is there some where & as October is Breast Cancer awareness month I'd like to see some pink!!!

Oh My Word!

Can you believe this? I just got home from work, checked my emails and what do I find but a lovely email from my pal Martine, she's only gone and made me my very own Dottie and George Blog background! Isn't it amazing? I love everything about it, this lady is one heck of a clever girl. I'm absolutely thrilled to bits.
Martine you must go right to the top of the most kind and thoughtful person list.
